Electrician I ( wood products manufacturing )--Albany, OR

Albany Arauco locations (Duraflake and Albany Treating and Lamination) have openings for Electricians. 


Duties include inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains mechanical and electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. Responds to mill breakdowns, complete's assigned work orders and supports operations during upset conditions.  Responsible for shift pass down to oncoming technicians.  Maintains Electrical Logbook and keeps it current at the end of each shift.  Works with other skilled crafts personnel and operators to increase uptime reliability.  Investigate the root cause of equipment failure and make recommendations for long-term fix.  Enter work requests and complete assigned work orders.  Participate in maintenance meetings and other group functional meetings / training sessions.   


Oregon Jouneyman's Electrician's license LMPJ preferred but may accept LME license with the understanding it will be a requirement to achieve a LMPJ license.  Three years AC/DC motor control experience (including drives) and electricial troubleshooting in an indisutrial environment required.  Familiarity of basic functions of CMMS system.  Strong indiustrial mechanical millwright experience / skills preferred, must be willing to perform millwright duties as part of their regular job duties.   Must be willing to working all shifts, including days, nights, rotating and holidays.
