OT Cybersecurity Specialist – United States

 

SUMMARY

The purpose of the OT Cybersecurity Specialist is to manage cybersecurity in the industrial environment, including people, processes, and technology. This role will be responsible for analyzing the Industrial environment, business processes, infrastructure, architecture, network devices, risks, among others, and proposing solutions/improvements/controls that integrate cybersecurity technologies (monitoring, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, etc.) within the ecosystem of industrial plants and their work teams, promoting cyber defense. This role will be responsible for maintaining constant communication with the plants and those responsible for industrial areas, and for ensuring compliance with the corporate cybersecurity guidelines.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Risk and vulnerability management of Industrial Cybersecurity
  • Definition and establishment of protection measures (controls) in industrial facilities, in the field of Cybersecurity.
  • Execution of Industrial Cybersecurity projects, from their definition to their launch, considering corporate guidelines.
  • Monitoring and validation of alerts associated with the different Industrial Cybersecurity platforms, integrating those responsible for the industrial areas.
  • Management, review, and continuous improvement of the industrial cybersecurity regulatory framework.
  • Execution of all actions aimed at preventing / mitigating risks in Industrial Cybersecurity, such as:
  • Safety review of industrial assets, infrastructure, solutions, or others.
  • Investigation and management of Cybersecurity threats
  • Analysis and recommendation of preventive actions that allow detecting and correcting possible deviations in the field of industrial cybersecurity.
  • Support in the development of user awareness campaigns
  • Management of industrial cybersecurity incidents.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineer or Bachelor of Information Systems / Computer Science

  • Certifications or specialization in industrial cybersecurity is a plus.

  • Initial knowledge of international norms or standards, such as ISO 27001/2, NIST, CIS Controls.

  • Knowledge of security infrastructure, Firewall, WAF, IPS, IDS, TCP / IP, SIEM, AV / EDR.

  • Initial knowledge of industry standards such as NERC-CIP, ISA / IEC 62443.

  • Knowledge of protocols and operation technologies (OT) of the industrial field is a plus.

  • Knowledge and use of cybersecurity monitoring tools.

  • Desirable knowledge of privileged access control tools (PAM).

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred

  • knowledge in Ethical Hacking is a plus
