SAP Project Manager – Supply Chain

 

SUMMARY

 

The SAP Project Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic planning and development of Procurement, Logistics, and Distribution transactions in Arauco North America. The Project Manager communicates with the business and other internal/external partners to propose, develop, and implement new functionalities. The role involves the coordination of all steps involved in a project starting with requirements gathering throughout implementation, testing, and successful Go-live, within planned time and budget.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with the Supply Chain area to identify potential opportunities to innovate and improve current operations at Arauco.
  • Develop implementation plans with the business and other IT teams, as needed.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Working knowledge in configuration and enhancements of SAP modules SD, MM, LE and TM
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Conduct project team meetings to follow up on assignments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct steering committee meetings.
  • Identify project risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Adhere to company procedures and governance policies.
  • Liaison with other teams in the company to ensure consistency in the design and deployment of the SAP application.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in SAP SD, LE, WM, and MM modules
  • Experience in SAP TM is a plus
  • Experience with EDI
  • Experience in Sales, Procurement and Logistics business flows as well as integration with Finance
  • Experience with SCRUM methodology.
  • Project management Experience
  • Bilingual English- Spanish is a plus
