PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Human Resources Coordinator role exists to provide administrative support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the HR Department.  The HRC touches multiple disciplines in the field, which may include benefits, diversity, employee relations, reporting, support global HR projects, and onboarding. The HRC also maintains personnel records, acts as a first point of contact for employees who have questions, helps facilitate new-hire orientation and interacts with outside vendors as needed.

 

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Act in a confidential capacity to handle internal and external requests for information.
  • Coordinate recruitment process for Fort Mill positions; including arranging interviews, contacting applicants, administering pre-employment drug, background and development tools, and maintaining all relevant documentation and correspondence.
  • Supporting on-boarding of new hires for Fort Mill positions; includes creation of offer letters, coordinating space, equipment and relocation and tracking probationary periods.
  • Manage Fort Mill salaried employee files and medical files in accordance with state, federal, provincial and national laws.
  • Administer and track participation in Fort Mill wellness programs.
  • Coordinate Fort Mill open enrollment and coordinate presentation on benefits changes.
  • Maintain oversight of all employee changes (new hires, leaves, terminations, demographic, benefits and status changes) in SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Manage company-wide training including scheduling, system access and reporting.
  • Compile monthly headcount reports, new hire and termination reports, and employee stat hours reports and send to corporate office in Chile.
  • Coordinate meetings, employee celebrations and other events as required for the Fort Mill office.
  • Maintain relationships and support local community groups and events.
  • Conduct benefits audit, verifying vendor invoices as compared to employee elections.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience using large HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred, but not required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Associates or Bachelors preferred, but not required.
  • Must be organized and possess sound time management skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter and complete assignments without significant direction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; maintain professional demeanor at all times.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability.
